CRAZY CELEBRITY BEAUTY HABITS
But apparently they work
Ever spotted a celeb with blemishes, a wrinkle, greasy hair or chipped nails? No? Precisely. There’s a reason for this. They have beauty rituals we have yet to learn from. Although some of them do make me raise an eyebrow. I’ve mentioned crazy celeb beauty rituals before, but it’s like the gift that keeps on giving. It never ends. So here you go, a couple of new crazy ones.
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Pimples or restless skin? Well, if you use toothpaste it will dry out your skin and get rid of the pimple. That is, if we are to believe what Jennifer Love Hewitt says because we’ve never spotted her with any blemishes, According to dermatologists it’s not the most advised plan because it can only make it worse. And it’s going to trap bacteria which will irritate your skin. So don’t do it.
Miranda Kerr
Don’t have a highlighter anywhere around you? Don’t worry. Miranda Kerr uses lip balm to add some shine around her eyes. A perfect solution because lip balm is a great nutrient for your skin and keeps it soft. Consider using it by the corners of your eyes too. Another great tip of Miranda’s is to use a spoon when you’re trying to create the perfect cat-eye. Put it in warm water and then use your blowdryer for an extra boost. Your lashes have never had such an amazing curl before.
Denise Richards
Avocado really is good for everything. Denise uses it as an extra nutrient for her hair. Now I know you’re not going to want to peel an avocado when your under the shower, but just pr-prep it with a bit of olive oil and it’ll be much easier to apply to your hair.
Catherina Zeta-Jones
Catherina’s lushes locks? She has beer to thank. In her hair. What she does is she massages beer onto her ends, let’s it absorb and then rinses it out. Might not have the best smell, but the results…
Lady Gaga
You might smell this one from a mile away because Lady Gaga isn’t per se known to go through life with standard rituals. And her method of rinsing her face from makeup is one we would never come up with. She uses tape. Especially when she’s removing eye makeup. Her idea is that when you use tape, glitter comes off easier, and when you wipe it off, it’ll end up all over your face. Whether or not it’s good for your skin? I’m not sure. But Miss Gaga approves.
Sienna Miller
How does she always maintain such a phenomenal color? Ketchup is her miracle worker. Whether ketchup is a good idea? Well, think of it as a replacement for henna, which always gives your hair an intense color. If it’s fresh? I had never heard of it before and I think just to be safe, I’ll stick to hair masks…
Suki Waterhouse
The model secret to her great hair? Coca Cola. The result? Exactly what Coco Cola stands for. Something fresh, not too perfect, but with a natural beach wave. But why? Why are people using products that don’t smell good in your hair? I’m assuming no one wants to walk around smelling like a coca cola or ketchup or beer. But okay, apparently it works because Suki has great hair.
