This is what Disney princesses look like when their alarms go off

If for some reason you thought Disney princesses always wake up looking picture perfect with luscious locks, perfectly pouted and colored lips and flawless skin. Well, boy are you wrong. It’s impossible. Even for a Disney character. Have you ever seen Belle or Jasmine’s beauty shelf? That’s what I thought. Neither have I. Obviously Cinderella woke up with a massive hangover after her night at the ball. And the little mermaid doesn’t always carry around waterproof mascara.

For Cosmopolitan, artist Isaiah Stephens always shows a different side of our favorite Disney princesses each month. She’s already treated us to some insight as to what they’d look like without waterproof makeup, but this time we’re seeing the naked truth of what they look like as soon as that alarm bell goes off. Thank god they’re just like the rest of us. Who knows, maybe we’ve now all got equal odds in winning over those Disney princes.

Pocahontas

It definitely took her a while to head back home after she jumped off that waterfall. At least it left her with an incredible jungle look. One we wouldn’t mind spending every night in the jungle for.

Belle

Princess Belle spent the entire night dancing with tea cups, candles and let’s not forget, she had a wild night with the Beast. We’re down for one of those.

Mulan

Another appropriate look. She clearly spent the entire night fighting so didn’t have any time to take a nap. Bad girls gotta take over the world.

Tiana

Besides the bags under her eyes and her natural matte lips, her hair still looks #onfleek. Time for Tiara to start kissing some frogs again.

Ariel

Ariel clearly hasn’t found her dingelhopper yet (the fork she uses to brush her hair) this morning. Perhaps a good thing too because look at that volume she suddenly has. That never happens down in the deep blue ocean.

Jasmine

It looks like Jasmine just spent the night in jail. But anyways, old habits are hard to beat. Which is fine to. As soon as she hops onto Aladdin’s magical carpet, her hair will be a little messy from the wind anyway.

Cinderella

And Cinderella? Cinderella is lucky because she got to sleep in for once. No more cleaning the house in the morning, dancing around with rodents. Give the girl a break. And give us those bold brows and wavy hair when we wake up.
