Fashion dilemma of the week
FROM DAY TO NIGHT
How to rock your daytime outfit in the night
We all have days during which we’d rather carry around a suitcase full of clothing around all day. Not because we don’t know what to wear to work, it’s all about the hours after work. Right after. We don’t have time for a quick pitstop at home and since carrying around a suitcase really isn’t ideal, I’m here to give you a few styling tips about how to rock your daytime outfit straight through the night. From a meeting straight to the office, straight to dinner, straight to a party. Stress? No way, check this out:
Underneath or on top
Crop top, €7,99 H&M Dress, €17,95 Zara Leather ankle boots €79,95 Zara Shoulder bag, €2.980,- Gucci via Net-a-Porter Metal bracelets €12,99 H&M
This clothing combination might just be your fashion savior in need. Because picture this, you’ve got a date night after work, then this trend is the perfect solution for you. Blouses, t-shirts or tops; all of them are allowed to be worn underneath your favorite dress. Plus, this is an immediate change from the office look to a tad bit more sexy and festive. And if it’s a little too daring for you to wear something underneath, a sweater or blouse on top will work just fine. Absolutely no one is going to realize you’re wearing your party dress underneath.
Suit it up
Lang herengilet, €79,99 Mango Pantalon, €39,99 Mango T-shirt, €95,- Être Cécile via MyTheresa Flats, €495,- Jimmy Choo via Net-a-Porter Schoudertas, €725,- Jimmy Choo via Net-a-Porter Schipperspet, €12,99 H&M
This summer we’ve spotted them in different shapes and sizes: the suit. The fun thing about a suit is that it’s an easy thing to use when making clothing combinations. As a base go for good trousers with a matching sleeveless jacket. All you have left to do is add a nice blouse or turtle neck underneath, which you can get rid of later in the evening.
