Fashion dilemma of the week
I’ve got a wedding to attend, what do i wear?
We’re full on in wedding season. Summer means = weddings. But when you live in the Northern part of Europe it also means = unpredictable weather. Anyways, you’ve got a wedding on the menu. There are a couple of rules for you to abide. First of all, never ever look better than the bride – but still look as good as you can.
I’ve got two looks for you in which I’ve kept the weather in mind. Should I buy two outfits if there is a possibility it’s going to be cold out? Nope, that’s taking it a little too far. There are easy ways to combine the dress or jumpsuit you’ve shopped for or that you’ve got hanging in your closet already. Still got nothing to wear? Then it’s best to invest in a good jacket. One you’ll even enjoy after the wedding. Not to sure what the dress code is? Then go for a subtle look – be more romantic than edgy. A lace dress is always a good idea.

According to the rules, a white or cream colored dress is a no go for a wedding unless you are the bride. Don’t know the bride too well or are you still a little clueless regarding the dress code, then go for a different color. Just to be sure. And if you can add color, try not to put on something black in the morning and stay far away from jeans. And last but not least: is the wedding taking place at the beach? Be aware of what you put on your feet. Heels are not a success in the sand. A thicker heel on the other hand will be your savior on the wooden planks on the beach.
