how to clear your head
Crabby, tired, irritated, stressed: that’s what happens when your head is full. Full of things you need to do for work, to-do lists you need to complete and a bunch of other stupid chores you keep putting off until last minute. And then you always manage to make too many appointments (hence a stuffed agenda) which leads to absolutely no time to relax. Your head is FULL. Sound familiar? I would assume so since “we” tend to be better at planning too much than actually making time for yourself to do absolutely nothing.
I’m going to give you a bit of advice on how to clear your head. Give it a shot, and then promise me you’re going to try to keep it clear up there for a while, okay?
Is something bothering you? It’s going to stay stuck in your head until you share it. Bye bye, unnecessary weight on your shoulders.
Write everything down. Don’t use your head as storage space for your to-do lists. And then grab a marker. Nothing is more therapeutic than crossing things off a list.
Everything at the top of your lists should be the things with the highest priority. After that, divide the rest of your list over the course of a few days. Try not to make it too long, because an endless list is unattainable and will make your head explode.
Turn your phone off for a few hours. YOU WON’T BE MISSING ANYTHING. #notetoself
Do things together. The more the merrier.
Work out. Couldn’t miss this one now could you. Believe me: this is the perfect medicine to clear your head.
You can even give meditation a try. Check out these apps for at home. Takes a few minutes and you’ll be completely zen.
