how to dress like a park avenue princess
After having read Liesbeth’s article about the books Bergdorf Blondes and the Primates of Park Avenue, I have two new books that have been added to my to-read list. I love witty stories, especially hilarious anecdotes about the filthy rich Upper East Side in New York. Especially when it’s fact and not fiction.
My thoughts immediately start to wander to the walk-in closets all these girls own and what the insides of them look like. Probably what I’ve always dreamed of mine looking like. Filled with the most coveting items, color coordinated and arranged by type. Specific areas for bags, shoes, boots and drawers filled with jewelry, sunglasses and underwear. A sky high mirror to admire yourself in for hours and a small little desk for you to do your nails and just stare at all the beauty around you.
But anyways, I’m going off topic here. What do these girls wear? Evidently something from a designer, styled with a pretty big bag, high heels, a hat and a lot of accessories. Want to feel like (an affordable version of) a Park Avenue girl? Get inspired by the items below.
