Does your boy (or that stranger in the bar) want to make out? Or did he just give you a sweet kiss on your face? It all depends on the mood he is in, because every kiss has a different meaning. Hereby the instruction manual for locking lips.
1. The kiss on the forehead
On the one hand it feels a bit childish when I get a kiss on the forehead. It’s definitely not sexy to get one of these Holy-Virgin-Maria-Kisses when you’re in fact hoping for a rowdy event with your guy.
What it really means:
‘I really like you.’ And hey, whether it screams sex or not, this kiss is a sign that the other person has feelings for you. Which might just be even better.
2. The quick peck
Work, stress, rushing, running, flying, jumping in the morning. But before the two of you part ways, he still takes the time to give you a quick peck.
What it really means:
‘You are really important to me and I hope that you and I stay together for a long time because I’m crazy about you. But right now I’m in a rush. Byeee.’
3. The French kiss
It doesn’t get more intimate than this. When you’re significant other suddenly grabs ahold of you and starts passionately kissing you. You know what time it is.
What it really means:
Do I really need to explain this one? ‘I want to have sex with you. S-E-X. Now.’
4. The lost kiss
The type of kiss that starts off at your lips and slowly but smoothly makes it’s way to other areas of your face and body. If you’re not really digging the guy and don’t want to have sex with him, STOP kissing him right away.
What it really means:
‘I don’t really know if you’re up for it or not, but I’m going to at least try to have sex with you.’
5. The kiss in your neck
You got your hands on a convivial guy who knows exactly how to turn a woman on. To all you single ladies out there: be careful, more often than not these guys can be players.
What it really means:
‘I know that this turns women on so I’m going to keep doing it until you get turned on. Then I’m going to dump you.’ When your sweetheart does it: ‘I adore you and I still want to explore your body. Let’s do it together.’
6. The help-he-is-eating-my-face kiss
I’ve dated a guy like this before. This guy is the one that’s going to leave you with drool all over your face. Probably not the sexiest way to hook up with someone, but: he is trying to prove to you that he’s a passionate person.
What it really means:
‘I have absolutely no idea what I am doing but will you please just do sexy things with me? Please?’ You know what to do: help him change his ways or dump him.
