Lauren dishes the dirt: All the secrets from The Hills finally unraveled

It’s been about six years since we had to bid farewell to our friends from The Hills. Re-runs aside though. But my god, we’ve missed LC. But she was back last night, with vengeance. In The Hills Special ‘That Was Then, This Is Now’ she gives us an inside peek into all the shows secrets because the question we’ve all been waiting to have answered is: was it all real or for show?

So here they are, 9 of Lauren’s biggest reveals (last chance to click away, ladies):

1. Lauren really thought she worked for Teen Vogue

She was incredibly nervous for her application at Teen Vogue. She found out later that her father thought she had been a little too naive, because everyone knew she’d end up getting the job for the show.

2. Lauren’s parents knew what would be aired before it was aired

“Hot tip, if you’re going to be on reality television, tell your parents about it.”

3. Lauren kicked Jason out of her home and then changed the locks

We all saw their breakup on the show, but how it all went down hadn’t been filmed. And according to Lauren: it was intense. Oh fun fact about Jason; he was an alcoholic at the time.

4. Scripts had been written prior to nights out

And according to Lauren, she had no idea. After Heidi and Spencer had started the sex tape rumor, Lauren refused to be in the same room as them, yet the producers still managed to get them together. The entire night had been planned out, without both parties even knowing about it.

5. Kim K. almost made an appearance on the show

Obviously because of her famous step brother Brody Jenner. Kim was at a party at Heidi and Spencer’s and in never seen before footage (which they have a lot of), you can see Kim and Heidi enthusiastically talking about the fish in their aquarium.

6. The real reasoning behind Lauren Conrad’s infamous tear scene

Audrina lived in the guest house and felt the need to always lock everything to keep LC out. LC hated this. That’s when the bitch fight happened which never appeared in the show.

7. Everything between Lauren and Brody was fake

This makes me want to cry. The so called kissing scene between them had been staged by the producers. Lauren states that she and Brody were just friends and there was absolutely no chemistry between the two so they had to fake it.

8. Lauren knew she wanted to quit the show for a while

It had such a huge impact on her friends, relationships and her life in general. She hadn’t been happy for a while and knew it was time to just quit it. But the decision wasn’t an easy one because it had been her life for six years.

9. Lauren’s husband William Tell refuses to watch anything from the show

Because he’d rather not see his wife the way she used to be. “I don’t wanna know that you” is what he said to her.

And okay, even though that sounds semi-negative, when she was asked whether she would do it all over again if, she said yes. Because at the end of the day, look at everything it brought her. We get you, LC.
