Look of the day

You should know that these photos were taken on an extremely dreary day at the end of July. A day during which the sun should have made an appearance because we’re still very much in the midst of summer. But since the weather in Amsterdam is not our friend, I’ve been struggling with a clothing crisis since last month. I’ll leave my home in the morning wearing long pants and a sweater because it feels more like fall outside, but then the sun decides to appear. And on days I decide to walk around in short dress, the sun will be hibernating. Like I said: crisis.

That’s when I introduced this outfit into my life. This pleated knee length skirt is from & Other Stories. Perfect for those ‘in between’ temperatures; hot or colder days. I paired it with an H&M shirt, a leather jacket from Zara and Nike sneakers. The bracelets are a collection from the Bon Bon Boutique and & Other Stories. So perhaps this is the look you’ll be seeing me walk around in the most because I have a feeling the weather gods are not going to adapt to what I want.
