Twice a year my love and I head over to Antwerp for a weekend of quality one-on-one time to catch up on life, to eat, to play around and to hop from one store into another. I’ve managed to get my hands on a rare male specimen (after my fair share of field research) who actually enjoys shopping. Plus, he’s got great taste too and knows exactly how to convince me to always go for the more expensive purchase – if it’s a good one at least.

Our last visit to the city was entirely dedicated to By Malene Birger. Her collection was in every store I walked into and I wanted it all. The final damage? A jacket, a one piece (which I will show you soon), black culottes with an asymmetrical top and this wool skirt and matching vest. The shirt underneath is from Paul & Joe, a classic case of a shirt with a price tag I wasn’t too thrilled about but He talked me into getting it anyway (because the better the quality, the higher the wearability). Gucci boots underneath, Chanel baby in hand and I was ready to go. So to my love, incase you’re reading this; time to grab our agenda’s and schedule in another weekend getaway?
