“Why don’t we just park in front of Pauw.” My partners words on a Saturday round of shopping. I told him that this was a very dangerous idea because Pauw happens to be my favorite store (in the Netherlands) and their new winter collection had just hit stores. And did I just see Charlotte, my favorite sales assistant, waving?

“We just got a bunch of new things from Dries van Noten in, they scream your name.” Charlotte has the talent of knowing your taste and your figure and it helps take your right out of your comfort zone.  I happened to be in the store with my partner and my daughters so I decided not to try anything on (worthy of  pat on the back), but I just couldn’t get this set out of my head. Even my four year old daughter kept bringing up that “sweater from that friend in that store that had a snake on it”.

Long story short: I sent Charlotte a text asking if I could borrow the outfit for these photos and that’s when I fell even more in love with it, because those trousers, they feel like pajamas and now this suit is mine and we’ve already taken our love abroad to Berlin. Finished off this outfit with boots from Omoda and the clutch is from Dries van Noten. Do I smell fall coming up? I hate to say it but I can hardly wait.
