Extremely expensive houses have a way of making my heart rate pace twice as fast as normal. I think it’s because my own house is the size of a shoe box that I guess if you want to stay positive, the words ‘authentic’ and ‘characteristic’ are the best ways to describe it. I love living there but man, what I wouldn’t do to live in a gigantic palace with sky high ceilings, massive windows and oceans of space. Until then, I’m just going to check out other people’s mansions, and thanks to May-Britt, I now have the ultimate site to do so.

What it comes down to is this: there are a ton of very expensive houses with a lot of photos. And prices. They’ve got an apartment in New York right next to Central Park with 4 bedrooms, 4,5 bathrooms (half a bathroom? How does that work?) and a view to die for. So what’s it going to cost ya? Just a mere $68.950.000,- And no, I didn’t add an extra zero. Almost SEVENTY MILLION for a four bedroom apartment? If you make 20% downpayment, pay it off in 30 years with a 4% interest rate then your monthly mortgage will be $320.800,61. Let’s just say you can buy quite a large apartment in Amsterdam for that price. Per month. This is absolutely crazy. I love it.

And what about a penthouse on top of the Baccarat Hotel. 5 bedrooms, 5,5 bathrooms: 60 million dollars. Haha, it’s almost hysterical how expensive this is. Imagine even having the money to be able to afford a place like this. And then having to maintain it oo, cleaning it, buying a shit load of furniture.

So are you bored at work? Don’t worry, Mansion Global is best way to spend your day drooling behind your computer screen. And incase your boss catches you and starts complaining?
