This is Danielle, who’s collected quite the number of bags. And she’s not done with her collection just yet. She’s still got every bag from Chanel on her wish list. Oh, and Chloé’s Hudson Bag. Curious to know what she always carries around? And what she’s addicted to? Read all about it here.
How many bags do you own?
‘Coincidentally I just moved homes and I was in shock when I realized how many bags I have! I think I counted around 30 of them. I’ve collected quite the number over the past few years, but I decided to give some of them away and make others happy with them.’
How well do you take care of them?
‘Unfortunately not so good. In the sense that I really don’t keep their value in mind and just dump it in a corner or when I’m out at a terrace somewhere, I’ll leave it on the floor.’
What about its content?
‘This happens to be a really small bag but I usually carry around a huge shopper and dump everything in there because I’m always worried I’ll forget something, haha.’
What do you always carry around with you?
‘Two perfumes; Chanel’s body mist and Diptyque’s Philosykos because I always want to smell good. Other things you’ll always find are my iPhone and Chanel Les Beiges. It’s always nice to touch up my makeup in the afternoon. I’m also addicted to Clarins lip balm so that too is something you’ll find in my bag. You always have to protect your skin from daylight and sun, that’s why I always carry around an SPF 50 from Clarins in my bag. Oh, and a hair brush.’
What do you think are the best qualities of a bag?
‘Obviously it’s important that a bag looks good, but practicality is key too. Since I always seem to carry around a lot, I think the size and fit of the bag are important too. When I use a small bag, I always put the rest of my things in a plastic bag, I know, it’s awful!’
What can we still find on your wish list?
‘The Chloé Hudson Small in off-white. It’s the perfect bag for the summer and for festivals. But any Chanel bag is very welcome, I think they’re all fantastic!’
