How many bags do you have?

‘I think I have about 20. I used to always be obsessed with shoes, but my obsession has geared more towards bags nowadays. It’s the easiest way to give any outfit a boost.’

What’s the story behind this one?

‘This bag is from Furla which is currently a favorite bag brand of mine. It was gifted to me after a collaboration. I already owned a couple of Furla bags and was doubting whether I should get a colored one or this one. I was worried this one might be a bit too dull but since it’s a combo of both black and white, I feel like I can mix and match it with any outfit.’

How well do you take care of your bags?

‘I don’t clean my bags all too often and I’m not entirely careful either, although I do always store my designer bags in their dust bags. All the bags I own are pretty affordable, but I can imagine if you’ve got a really expensive designer bag, you’ll be very protective of it.’

What about its content?

‘Size wise, not a lot fits into this one, but it’s big enough for all my essentials. I always carry along my favorite makeup items and a mirror for when I need a touch up: MAC Prep & Prime, Yves Rocher eyeliner and lipstick. I also never leave my front door without my iPhone 6S Plus, earphones and a phone charger.’

What do you always carry around?

‘Business cards. You never know who you are going to bump into.’

What do you think are the best characteristics of a bag?

‘My style is full of color and I’m not afraid to try out new trends. When it comes to bags, I prefer ones that are timeless and can fit with whatever you decide to wear. The size is important too. I have a thing for small bags. They always add that extra ‘cute’ factor to an outfit.’

What can we still find on your wish list?

‘Most of my collection is built up of small bags that I can pick and choose from. I would definitely love to invest in a bigger designer bag too though. For years my dream bag has been the Proenza Schouler PS11, a real classic with a rock’n’roll edge. Plus, this year, the Gucci Dionysus found its way on my wish list too.’
