How many bags do you have?
‘Oh that’s a tough one, I’m not too sure. I have a ton of really small bohemian bags. I always end up buying a ton of new ones when I’m abroad, especially when I’m in Thailand I always score a lot of new ones.’
What’s the story behind this bag?
‘This beaut was a gift from my boyfriend for my 22nd birthday, and I love it!’
How well do you take care of your bags?
‘I want to say I’m careful with them, but then I’d be lying. I drag my bags everywhere and dump them anywhere. Oops! And because of all the jewelry, rings and bracelets I wear, my bags are always covered in scratches. Such a waste!’
What about its content?
‘I always stuff my bags with my wallet, an overdose of business cards and those punch cards you get at certain stores that allow you to get a free product or discount. However, I always forget to use them. I also always carry around bracelets from my brand 4EVER WITH EVERYONE, a mini agenda (yes I know, very old school, but I can’t live without it), lip balm and Advil.’
What do you always carry around with you?
‘My mini agenda. I would be lost without this thing. And forget about all my appointments.’
What do you think are the best qualities of a bag?
‘I always need bags to have one of those extra compartments for me to keep my phone in, I want the strap of the bag to be long enough so I can hang it cross body, and I prefer it if a bag looks good with any outfit. I have a thing for matching colors, and ever since I was young, I refuse to leave the door if my bra and underwear don’t match…’
Which bag do you still have on your wish list?
‘I secretly really want the Lily Oak Ostrich with soft gold, but that requires a little more time to save money. But over the top festival bags get me excited too!’

Hoeveel tassen heb je?
‘Oei, dat is een lastige vraag, ik heb echt geen idee. Het zijn er heel veel, vooral veel kleine vrolijke bohemién tasjes. Ieder jaar koop ik een hele verzameling tijdens mijn reisjes, vooral in Thailand heb ik altijd een goeie score.’
Wat is het verhaal achter deze tas?
‘Deze mooie parel heb ik voor mijn 22e verjaardag van mijn vriendje gekregen, ik ben er mega blij mee!’
Hoe ga je met je tas om?
‘Ik zou willen zeggen heel netjes, maar volgens mij lieg ik dan… De tas gaat overal mee naartoe en ik leg ‘m overal neer, oeps! En door alle sieraden en vooral de verzameling ringen die ik om heb, zit de sluiting helemaal onder de krassen. Zo zonde!’
Hoe zit het met de inhoud?
‘Ik prop alle tasjes altijd bomvol: een grote portemonnee, een overvloed aan visitekaartjes en spaarkaarten die ik overigens nooit gebruik en altijd vergeet te stempelen maar oké; ook die zitten er altijd in. Veder genoeg elastiekjes omdat ik die ever kwijtraak, natuurlijk een setje armbandjes van 4EVER WITH EVERYONE, mijn mini-agenda (ja, heel ouderwets maar ik vind het zo fijn), Labello voor droge lippen en altijd een stripje Advil Liquid Caps.’
Wat heb je altijd bij je?
‘Mijn mini-agenda. Zonder dit boekje zou ik al mijn afspraken vergeten.’
Wat zijn volgens jou de beste eigenschappen van een tas?
Er moet een extra vakje voor je telefoon in zitten, een hengsel zodat ‘ie lekker op je schouder kan hangen en ik heb het liefst bij iedere outfit een bijpassende tas. Ik ben nogal van de matchende kleuren; van kinds af aan wilde ik altijd al dat mijn hemdje en onderbroekje in dezelfde kleur waren als de rest van de outfit. En dat heb ik nog steeds…’
Welke staat nog op je wishlist?
‘Stiekem de Lily Oak Ostrich With Soft Gold, nog even doorsparen dus! Maar mij maak je ook mega blij met een hysterisch festivaltasje.’
