How many bags do you own?

‘It just so happens that I’ve been asked this question a lot lately. I even just purchased two new ones last week. I know, I’m crazy. I have an obsession with bags. I just counted them and I have a grand total of 52! OMG, now that’s confronting, haha.’

What’s the story behind this bag?

‘By bag addiction isn’t surprising. I think I inherited it from my mom. When I was little I wanted to have all her bags and every now and then she’ll give me the ones she no longer uses. Two years ago she found a bag in the back of her closet while she was cleaning (one that she bought almost 25 years ago) and I was so thrilled when she gave it to me. I ‘pimped-up’ the bag with a cute fluffy keychain.’

How do you take care of your bags?

‘I take pretty good care of my designer pieces. I keep them in their dust bags and every so often I use a special spray to make sure their exteriors don’t get ruined.’

What about its content?

‘I can’t live without blue Blistex. Pretty sure I have about 10 different tubes spread out throughout my house and in my bags because I always use them. Another thing I always carry around is my wallet (also inherited), my phone, keys, perfume, lipstick, sunglasses, Smashbox-eyeshadow (mostly for the mirror), eyeliner and baby cream for the dry winter days.’

What do you always carry around?

‘I usually always carry around two bags. A mini handbag for all my essentials that I mentioned abodes and one to finish off an outfit. Plus I’ll carry around an extra bag with my laptop and camera for my blog.’

What do you think are the best qualities of a bag?

‘Very cliché, but a bag really is a statement piece for your outfit.’

What can we still find on your wish list?

‘My list is endless. I’ve definitely got Céline high up on my list. I love nearly all Céline bags, so I don’t really mind which one it is.’
