What’s been keeping our girl Bo busy in the city this week? Check it out here!
1. Walking miles in New York’s uniform. What that means? Decked out in black. From head to toe. The wind is piercing. The sky bright blue. From Chelsea to SoHo to Union Square. At the latter, they’ve got a ‘farmers market’ each weekend. I especially like the flowers. Today they’ve got hyacinths, because it feels a tiny bit like the spring anyway.
2. The NOMO SOHO Hotel is always a great place to grab lunch and watch people. Most people are wearing their sunglasses sipping on their Brunch Bloody Mary’s. Which is very acceptable in New York. Big black bold sunglasses in the dead of winter inside at the NOMO SOHO. Their roof is made from glass, that’s why it’s acceptable. The glasses I mean. And the Bloody Mary too by the way.
3. I head out for lunch with these braids, also known as Dutch breads, and my mom. She’s visiting me in the city and we headed on over to Claudette’s; a ritual when she’s here. Small meals, spicy fries and most importantly, a very cosy atmosphere to spend the afternoon sipping on wine.
4. Wool beanie. Full moon.
5. Brunch at the Waverly. Always a good idea. We were seated at the terrace and my croque madame and his burger were divine. Reaffirmed yet again. This place is my favorite. Same goes for my future hubby, because you aren’t allowed to take any photos here. Finally a photo hiatus. But I secretly took one anyway. He was mad. I was satisfied. I said the word ‘sorry’ and all was good again.
6. Joe & The Juice gave me a free XL cappuccino because I love them so much and have proved my love for them a multitude of times on Instagram. How sweet right? So to finish off my weekly update, another photo of me and their big pink mug. Because I’m a fan.
