Our Bo had another wonderful week in the Big Apple. Wanna know what’s been keeping her busy?

Blue loves sleeping. All the time. Preferably in our bed. Which we’re okay with. But only in the morning. And this week we let it happen a little more often than usual, because I started the new year off in bed with a fever. Well, I started off coughing and sneezing so I immediately stocked up on kilo’s of kiwi’s and locked myself indoors for two days. Luckily the fever didn’t kick in but the rest of my week stayed rather calm. Filled with lots of snuggles with our baby.

For NYE I demanded a photo with confetti. You know, one of those spontaneous photos with a shower of gold little stars. It took about three hundred and fifty attempts. And the result? A great non-posed-or-thought-out photo and a home covered in stars. Oh well, last day of the year, everything should be possible.

Found in the archives. The midnight kiss! Awww…

I never do new years resolution. But what I do do, are new years holidays. So much better. Planning a week in which you can do anything you want, eat whatever you want, skip workouts and drink a ton of Malibu-pineapple cocktails. This year we’re heading to Vieques, a little island off the Puerto Rican coast. It’s supposed to be some sort of heaven which one of the brightest Bio Bays in the world. You know, one of those bays that lights up like in the movie Life of Pi? That, but then on Vieques. I can’t wait.

Last Friday morning I woke up at 6 AM to join my boy on his way to work. We parted ways in Bryant Park. He turned right, I turned left. Off to Le Pain for some coffee (and a hundred million other to-do’s). But before we said goodbye, he snapped this quick picture of the enchanting morning sunrise in the city.

Peonies at Whole Foods. What a bunch of beauts.

While Blue has decided to hibernate for the rest of the winter, I’ve decided to stay busy. Happy new week guys!
