seaweed is the bomb
When you think of seaweed you most likely think of sushi. It’s ‘paper’ they use to roll up rice or those neon green colored strings.
They’re delicious. But seaweed gets used in a lot more dishes than just sushi. It definitely falls under the category: super healthy. All of Hollywood swears by seaweed chips, -leaves, -drinks and -candy, because it’s a miracle worker for your body.
- Seaweed is a great snack if you’re in the mood to snack on something. It doesn’t contain any sugar, but it’s not entirely like chips either. Seaweed is filled with minerals and vitamins, increases your oxygen intake, it detoxes and supports your metabolism.
- Seaweed regulates the blood pressure as well as your blood sugar levels.
- Seaweed contains a lot of zinc, magnesium, omega fatty acids and antioxidants. A mouthful, yes, but these are all nutrients that make you radiate.
- It consists of a lot of iron and vitamin C.
- Seaweed helps you burn fat quicker.
- Chlorofyl (it’s okay if you forget the name) is the green pigment you find in seaweed which helps suppress the feeling of hunger and it’s anti-inflammatory.
