Stupid hairdo? Maybe you should wait for the cut to settle?
This is a pretty short post, but a post with a very important message nonetheless.
I recently discovered something. If I or my boyfriend or one of my friends has gone to the hairdresser, our/their hair tends to be a little ‘fixed’ for the first couple of days. A little ‘done’. The body isn’t there yet. It’s all a little flat. And sometimes it looks a little too short. That you find yourself secretly doubting if this haircut worked out well. That you almost want to walk off the edge of the earth because it feels like something that can never be fixed.
Rose gold is THE hottest hair color at the moment.
But fear not people, fear not. No need for a panic attack when this happens. Most of the times it’s just a matter of waiting for the cut to settle. Yes, quite the professional expression if I say so myself (and yes, maybe it’s basics to people that know a lot about hair, but I wanted to say it anyway. After all, you never know how many lives you save by saying so). Either way, you’ll see: give it a couple days or a week and your new hairdo will be fabulous and it’ll have that ‘umph’. The cut will have settled, your hair has body, the haircut worked out great; top off that glass of wine.
If your hair is really crooked, lopsided or green, there’s no other option than going back. Or maybe visit a different hairdresser. The ladies at The Building in Amsterdam are our editor Josselin’s favorites.
Oh, and did you know that you can tell what type of person you are by your hair? Read more here.
