SUPER SIMPLE RAW CHOCOLATE CAKE
Generally speaking, when you plan on eating something sweet, you have to do it the right way. Sugar, flower and butter included. That extra run around the block won’t hurt you when you want to dump the calories after. However, there’s a chocolate which contains a lot less sugar, you don’t need any flower or butter, and it’s equally good. And guys, let me tell ya, all my friends love it. Here’s the recipe.
Ingredients
For the base
1 gram of almonds
250 grams of fresh dates (preferably big and soft ones)
For the chocolate
100 grams of raw cocoa
160 ml maple syrup
200 ml melted coconut oil
The juice and peel of two oranges
Start with the base of the cake. Grind the almonds in a kitchen mixer. Then add the dates (without the seed). Mix them until they turn into a sticky batter. Mould the dough into a thin layer into a cake mould and leave it in the freezer.
To make the chocolate topping, add all the ingredients into the kitchen mixer and mix them until they turn into a liquid. This will take about five minutes. Pour the batter into your cake mould and leave it in your fridge overnight. Decorate the cake the following day with your rasps of orange peel.
