Tara Martin is a business woman, fabulous fashionista and born and raised Angeleno. Lucky for us (and you), she is also the latest addition to our Amayzine team of international editors. Every week she will give us an inside look on her life on the fault line.

I celebrated my birthday this week, with a touch of relaxation, reflection… and champagne.

My celebration committee brought out the cutest decorations and I treated myself to a littlesomething gorgeous—a drop dead white Celine bag.

As I soaked up our downtown view, I took some time to reflect on my first thirty years. I’m grateful for where I stand today, and can’t wait for more creativity, industriousness, revolutionary ideas, time, art, beauty, light, contrast, style, and designing to come in the future.

For my actual birthday I played hooky and spent some blissful time at the Montage BeverlyHills. There’s no better treat than sunshine and poolside cocktails—I did the research, trust me.

I wrapped up the week with a business meeting at the gorgeous Peninsula Beverly Hills, plussome necessary champagne to cap off the celebrations.
