Tara Martin is a business woman, fabulous fashionista and born and raised Angeleno. Lucky for us (and you), she is also the latest addition to our Amayzine team of international editors. Every week she will give us an inside look on her life on the fault line.

This week was filled to the brim with productivity and festivities, as I made big plans in our downtown design studio, and also took some time to celebrate with friends.

My best weeks start with thoughtful planning and strategy, so I made time to prioritize and envision a successful workweek. My other key to productivity? A good sweat. Nike kicks remind me to just do it.

My trusty sidekick and I enjoyed our downtown explorations, and ended up finding a couple of ultimate spring essentials while we were at it.

Mid week I was able to steal away for some girl time in the sun. Emails are just more tolerable when handled poolside, I’ve discovered.

And finally, I headed into a weekend of tequila-fueled hair flipping and black tie celebrations.
