Last week our editor Kiki sent me an email with a fun article from Marie Claire. I wasn’t sure though whether I found it extremely interesting, or incredibly terrifying. It was about men who are just a tad bit better at doing their makeup than the average female.
I definitely know a couple of men who are brilliant makeup artists; Wim Thompson, Benjamin Puckey. But these guys, the guys I’m about to introduce you to, have tutorials to show you exactly how to achieve impeccable makeup looks. From over the top glamorous to chic. Still not sure if I find it scary or very interesting. I mean, I can’t imagine my guy being able to give me the perfect smokey eye. But still, if you want a lot of Insta followers, this is how you do it.
Perfectly shaped eyebrows, gigantic fake lashes that turn him into the human form of Bambi; this is Alannized. You can recognize him through his striking and shiny cheekbones. No shimmer, no look. He’s got more than 200.000 followers and knows just how to inspire people with the most glamorous looks. Bold eyes, colorful lips and shimmer and shine on his entire face.
I wouldn’t mind spending the day with Patrick. He oozes fun and delight. He is currently one of the most influential makeup stars online and has almost two million followers on Instagram an YouTube. Looks like stealing his mom’s foundation worked out well for him.
When you check out Manny’s account, you’ll realize right away that pink is his favorite color. He likes to live colorfully, matching his eyes and lips.
I think Alex has one of the coolest accounts there is. He seems like an extremely raw guy with his Sauvage in one hand and a cigarette in the other, however his love for makeup is uncanny. He’s got 250.000 followers on Insta and Jennifer Lopez is one of his biggest clients.
Might not have as many followers as the above mentioned boys, but when it comes to great hair, he’s a winner. Same goes for his brows. Always perfectly shaped.
