The four women of the Formula 1

This Saturday I found myself watching the Formula 1 races. My beloved has been trying to get me hooked on Formula 1 for the past fifteen years. Plus, the start of the race was at a decent hour and the Dutch Max Verstappen would we driving his first race for Red Bull (with a Renault engine).

So there I was. In my very own first row. And I didn’t leave. Tea was replaced by wine, I would hide behind pillows, I heard someone (perhaps it was myself) shouting, my daughter started drawing a race car and suddenly everyone was standing on our couch. To say we were over the moon would be an understatement, it was a party, one I didn’t depart from and so I poured myself another glass of wine.

My entertainment hear also did a little jump for joy because who’s pretty face did I spot ‘backstage’ (is that what they call it during races)? Gerri Halliwell! There she was; older, more normal, and a lot better looking. And that’s when I remembered the following sum; Formula 1 = money = massive amounts of good looking women. So I did my research and I’m here to present you to, drum roll please, the coolest women of the Formula 1.

Geri Halliwell

There she was again. Ginger Spice. Married to Christian Horner, the boss of the International Red Bull Racing Team, aka the boss of our Dutch boy Max. Did you hear someone congratulating Max after his race through the intercom? That was Christian. And Geri doesn’t shy away from anything in life. She’s been an aerobics instructor, a nude model, a Spice Girl and now she’s the wife of. And a great one.

Anna Rafaela Bassi

Anna is Felipe Massa’s wife and she’s not only stunning, she’s got great taste too. And a career. Something that already strikes me amongst the Formula 1 women. These are not the well stocked racks that we, I won’t name any names, we tend to see at other sports events. They have balls, and a job. Anna has her own clothing label and you can find it under the name Guarana Brasil.

Lara Alvarez

Don’t pin me down on this one, but it is possible that Lara is currently dating Fernando Alonso. Unless Fernando isn’t playing footsie with another model like Dasha Kapustina for example. And if Laura isn’t fooling around with Sergio Ramos, because with a job title like hers (sports journalist), she sure makes the coolest friends. Anyways. She’s a beaut, has a wonderful Instagram account and a body that doesn’t need a pitstop for a touch-up.

Mikaela Ahlin-Kottulinsky

Open up a lane for our Dutch Max’s girlfriend! She’s all but a pit babe – this girl races herself too. And she makes quite the amount of money doing so. Something that isn’t too surprising, because anyone with a direct link to Mikaela and Max are delivering one top achievement after another on the race track. So here is: Max’s dad is Jos Verstappen (a retired race car driver) and his mother too was a well known kart racer. Plus: Mikaela’s grandpa once one the Paris-Dakar race, and her father, mother and brother all race too. So boy oh boy, imagine what it’ll be like if Mikaela and Max are to ever have kids. Ka-ching.
