Beauty
the hair look of the summer
Perhaps you know the feeling. You’re geared up heading for the summer, completed your spring cleaning, and now it’s time to give yourself a thorough cleanse. New hair, new look, and then I haven’t even started about your wardrobe. Lily Aldridge, Elizabeth Olsen and Olivia Wilde have just gone through their spring transformation, so it’s up to you to follow in their footsteps.
The thing that the three of these ladies have in common is that they’ve all got a great head of hair. And when you’re a fan of the balayage, this this summer version is going to get you excited: the brush lights. There’s no better explanation of it than the name because it’s so easy and looks so simple that it’s best to call it like you see it.
“What I’m not saying is that you have to grab a lemon and squeeze the juice onto the top of your head and comb it out.”
If you’re wondering what the difference is between brush lights, balayage and ombre, well, I can tell you. They’re all somewhat similar, but add a magnifying glass and you’ll see the balayage concerns the entire hair color, ombre is only on the bottom and the brush lights is a summer version of the two.
What I’m not saying is that you have to grab a lemon and squeeze the juice onto the top of your head and comb it out. You either have to get it done by a professional or do it yourself in front of the mirror. It’ll give you the prettiest transition in color, like you’ve just spent the week on Ibiza. And a week in Capri. Oh, and a day in Valencia.
