the prettiest easter decorations

When I was little I would decorate Easter egg trees at school with garlands and little eggs and bake cookies with currants that looked like birds. Yes, I was very Easter-involved and I still succumb to purchasing any cute Easter decoration I come across. That even though my house is extremely black and white and I usually refuse any form of bright color to pass through the front door. But hey, it doesn’t have to be all that bold. Even subtle decorations can transform your humble abode into an Easter paradise.

Garlands and balloons

Look up the word Easter and scroll through Pinterest and you’ll come across a ton of cute interior decorations. Painting a wall might be a step too far, but garlands can be just as fun if you want to add a touch of color. Making your own garland might even double the dose of fun.

Flowers

When you think of Easter, you think of Spring. When you think of spring, you think of flowers. But not any random boring bouquet of flowers. Either buy a whole bunch of different kinds and mix and merge them, or do something entirely different. Hang them up, stick them to a wall or divide them into tiny vases across your table. Be creative. The same goes for the vases you use. Decorate them. With tape or with paint. Anything.

Easter egg tree

Might sound like the most civil decoration you can think of for this holiday, but that’s why it’s the perfect time to go all out and decorate them entirely different than the rest of the population. Pimp your branches with tiny pompoms, spray paint them into a different color, add photos. Might be a little repetitive but your key words here are: be creative.

Easter brunch table setting

And by brunch I actually mean decorate it for the entire day and not just the morning. Cover it with chocolate eggs or decorated ones or add a few glass bells and add pretty decorations underneath them. Although if you decide to stick chocolate eggs underneath the glass bell, I can’t guarantee it’ll stay in tact the entire day…
