Sigh. Leandra. The woman we all love and the brains behind the hilarious site about serious fashion: The Man Repeller. The name says it all: everything men hate or don’t understand, Leandra loves. And makes sure we love it too. From suits that could have easily belonged to your grandmother to dresses that seem more appropriate for a NYE party but she wears them to do her groceries and wearing socks in slippers. Might all sound odd, but believe me when I tell you: there’s nothing she can’t pull off. And that fact that she’s a hilarious writer is an added bonus.
Dit is de dame achter de hilarische site over serieuze mode: The Man Repeller. De naam zegt al genoeg: alles waar mannen een afkeer van hebben, daar houdt Leandra wel van. En ze zorgt ervoor dat ook wij daarvan gaan houden. Van oude mantelpakjes die zomaar van je oma hadden kunnen zijn en jurkjes die menig mens eerder voor Oud & Nieuw aan zouden trekken terwijl ze even de boodschappen gaat doen tot blote benen met sokken in teenslippers. Oké, als je het zo leest schrik je er misschien zelf ook van, maar believe us when we tell you: die Leandra kan alles hebben. En dat ze zelf behoorlijk geestig is en leuk kan schrijven is mooi meegenomen.
