THESE 6 MOVIES ARE GOING TO HELP YOU GET INTO THE HALLOWEEN SPIRIT

To be fair, I have absolutely no idea why I decided to write this post because when it comes to horror movies, I’m the one you’ll always find hiding behind a pillow. Or snuggling up against someone – not entirely a bad thing. Perhaps the best tactic for some more physical contact with that boy you’re into. Halloween is just a couple days away, and although I might not be horror-proof, the night of the dead is still one of my favorite holidays. Don’t have a Halloween party planned? (Boring!) Then it’s best you schedule in a good old night of screaming. And these are the classics that are going to help yo do it.

The Shining

‘Here’s Johnny!’ What I learned from The Shining is to never ever work for a hotel in the winter that doesn’t have any guests. It’ll make you go crazy. By the way, A+ for Danny’s sweater collection.

A Nightmare on Elm Street

Had a hard time sleeping already? Yikes, then you’re going to hate me after this (sorry). But it’s a classic and it’s almost Halloween and Freddy Krueger is an essential part of the holiday.

It

Wasn’t scared of clowns yet? Now you will be. And you’ll be avoiding gutters for the rest of your life too.

Poltergeist

Whether you watch the 1982 version or the one from 2015, Poltergeist is creepy AF. Someone who’s inside of your TV. WTF. Throw that shit out. But don’t do it until after you’ve watched this list of movies, okay? Oh yeah, and never open the door for scary old men either.

The Exorcist

Perhaps the scariest movie of all time. Whether it’s the one from 1973 or the newest 2016 version; think demons, beds shaking (and not the good kind of shaking), heads making complete 360, weird jibber jabber…. Good luck.

Child’s Play

The original Chucky. Dolls coming to life: I can’t handle this. But think of all the cuddles you’ll be getting from the boy sitting beside you. That’s what you’re doing it for.
