So last week we decided to discuss some embarrassing hobbies we all have at the office. Believe me, some of the weirdest things came up but luckily I came across and article on Graziadaily.uk which stated that there are certain things we really don’t need to be ashamed of.

Better yet, old fashioned granny activities are completely hip and happening. England has a multitude of sewing clubs (with cool names like Stitch ’n Bitch evidently) and I’m downright sure you are guilty of watching baking shows on TLC. Admit it.

Anyways, activities our grandmothers love to do are very very hip. I think we have the Iris Apfel documentary to thank for it and that anything ‘grey’ (think hair) has made a comeback and Gucci’s latest collection. Think oversized  glasses, over the knee skirts and blouses with huge bows around the collar. Team Granny all the way – and it’s hot! Sewing clubs, jam making clubs, pottery classes… I don’t know why you’re still reading this when you should probably be Googling the nearest place for you to join in on the trend.

Being in line (hobby wise) with our grandmothers, but then with a firm gin tonic in hand. I’m sure Iris Apfel would be impressed.
