THIS IS HOW TO DITCH THOSE PHONES WHILE EATING

Look guys, IKEA in Taiwan is getting sick of it. No one is ever cellphone free at the dinner table anymore. People are texting, they’re snapping, taking pictures or they’re just scrolling through a bunch of nonsense. Also known as: we’re married to our phones and it’s about time that we divorce them. Especially while we’re eating. We tend to forget that talking to one another in real life is a lot more fun anyway.

IKEA Taiwan therefore decided to invite some guests for a hot pot (fondue) and yup, the very first thing the guests did was grab their phones and take photos of the table. But what the guests didn’t know is that the only way the hot pot could be served hot, was if they all put their phones underneath the huge fondue pan. HA! Smart move IKEA, smart move.
