WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU SPILL RED WINE ON YOUR CLOTHES
Happens to me all the time, because I’m clumsy. I bang into things, I trip, I lose things, I’m messy (but I’m also an excellent cleaner) and I always have to work with to-do lists or else I forget everything. But how about we stick to spilling wine for now. Especially spilling it on someone else and you have to think fast. I asked everyone at our HQ what their solutions are when they’re stuck in the latter mentioned scenario:
1. Do something right away! Salt is your key word. Pop open your salt shaker and sprinkle it onto the red wine and let it soak. Best is to take off the item of clothing that you spilt the red wine onto too.
2. Pat it down, never wipe it.
3. Use Vanish, that stuff is seriously good shit.
4. Old wine stains can be removed by patting detergent onto it and letting it soak it up of about six hours. Then rinse it off.
5. Wash it with luke warm or cold water. Never warm.
6. Let your item of clothing soak in milk for a night and then put it into the laundry machine.
7. Pour white wine onto the red wine stain. It’ll withdraw the color. Then throw it into the laundry machine. I have to admit: I’ve never tried this, so I can’t guarantee whether or not it really works.
