WHAT WE CAN EXPECT ON NETFLIX THIS SEPTEMBER

When I say Netflix, you say? Ha, if you said chill then I definitely know where your mind is at. Alright alright, so we’re counting down our final days of August and guess what that means? A new season of shows and movies on Netflix is upon us. Woohooo. Time for a whole new season of binge watching. I’m sure by now everyone is tired of having spent their summer laying out by the pool or at the beach or spending their nights drinking sangria until the early hours of the AM. Well don’t you worry, it’s (almost) time for you to start wasting away your evenings (heck, even your mornings and days) in front of your TVs. So what will you be watching? Guys, there’s a lot. A whole lot. A you’re-never-going-to-sleep-again lot. So I’ve just summed up a list of favorites:

Jaws I, II, III and yes, there’s also a IV

Because we can never get enough of that animal in the ocean that terrifies the hell out of all of us.

Crash

Because here’s a movie you might have forgotten about. This star studded cast won the Oscar for Best Motion Picture back in 2004. Worth rewatching.

The Blacklist (Season 3)

Because none of us can get enough of the fugitive turned FBI helper Raymond ‘Red’ Reddington.

New Girl (Season 5)

Because this show changed your life for the better. It’s uplifting, it’s hilarious and it puts you in a good mood. Pretty sure those are three words no one will ever say no to.

The Imitation Game

Unfortunately this movie lost to The Theory of Everything (also a great movie to watch) and if you haven’t watched it already. DO IT RIGHT AWAY. Not a lot of people are familiar with Alan Turing and his role in the second world war and what better (read: fun) way to educate yourself than through a brilliantly made movie staring Benedict Cumberbatch and Keira Knightley.

Supergirl

I have yet to watch this. And to be fair, I’m still a little hesitant. But the reviews I’ve come across thus far have been good so it’s worth giving a shot, right? And I heard through the grapevine that Superman will make an appearance in season 2…
