WHAT YOU NEED TO (AND STILL CAN) DO IN YOUR TWENTIES

Not because you have to, but because you can. But this is it, the proper way to bid farewell to your twenties. I’m slowly heading to finishing off my third decade, so hereby a couple of things that were awesome to do and the things that I (dweeb that I am) should have done in my twenties.
Splurge on something expensive
Seriously. Something so expensive it requires you to live off of bread and water for a while. Spending money before it’s even on your bank account is something you should do at least once. The panic that kicks in as soon as you can hardly afford food is a life lesson you can’t miss out on.
Work it
Seven days a week. Pulling all nighters. Seriously, aim high and all the shebang. Work. Really. Hard. All the time you invest now, you’ll earn double the reward in return. And how great is it to start off your dirty thirties with a resume that will make your future boss bow down onto his knees?
Drink one drink to many at your office party
Hey, perhaps not the best idea. But when you’re new to the “grown up” world, then it’s okay to be tipsy around your CEO just once. I’m not saying he or she is supposed to hold your hair at the end of the night, but call it stage giggle.
Travel alone
I wish I had traveled alone for months, but in real life, my score is on the lower side. But incase you are going o do it, talk to people you would normally never bump into, see the world alone without someone constantly attached to your hip. And cry in front of a bunch of strangers because that jackass in the subway stole something out of your bag and you’re hot and tired. Experience is what builds character.
One night only
Along the lines of: you can’t judge before you’ve given it a shot. That one night stand? Do it. Yes, it can be awkward. No, you won’t drown in his eyes. And if he accidentally spends the night and you have no f-ing clue what t osay to him the next day, so be it. It’s excited and freaky at the same time. Just remember not to give him your number in the morning because then the odds of a second night stand will increase.
