WHAT YOU SHOULD EAT WHEN YOU’RE MOODY
So I’m a few days off but I just want to quickly get back to the subject of Blue Monday. Anyone struggle with it? I mean, Monday is always that one day of the week you need someone to give you a quick shove to get yourself going. I always try to work out in the morning, it’s my way of starting the week by putting my best foot forward. Give it a go, I highly recommend it. You’ll hate it when your alarm goes off, but you’ll thank me after. But anyways, today is Friday and even though the weekend officially kicks in today, being moody every now and then is normal. Sometimes all you need is a hug or a quick phone call with a friend to release your stress. Works too, but I bet you didn’t know that there are some items of nutrition to help kick you out of your funk. Food that will give you energy and make you happy.
HONey
Add a tea spoon of honey into your cup of tea or on some toasted bread. Honey consists of kaempferol and quercetin (try and remember these two names) which keep your brain cells healthy and help avoid depressions. The perfect positive stimulus.
BANAna
Bananas consist of calcium which gives you an immediate energy kick because it stores itself in your bloodstream right away. Plus, it’s a healthy snack.

In a bit of a slump? Grapes give you an acute energy kick.
CHOCOLAte
Aha I bet you were waiting for this one to appear in the list. Get your hands on some that has a high percentage of cocoa. Around 60%. It’s filled with phenlethylamine (a name you’re probably going to forget) and endorphins. It will make you feel euphoric and in love. Well, what are you waiting for?
