WHY YOU NEED TO EAT THOSE EGG WHITES IF YOU WANT TO BE FIT

Open the pages of any health magazine, check any ‘fit girl’s’ Instagram account or scroll through any nutrition site and you’ll see there is one thing they all talk about: egg whites. Protein (in this case egg whites) keep you fit (or slim, or whatever you want to call it).

If you work out often, you have to make sure you eat plenty of eggs (or other supplements filled with egg whites). It’s a great way to avoid being sore as well as build up your muscle strength. Strong muscles means you’ll burn more fat. And I’m assuming that’s exactly what you want right?

What can you eat?

The best way to obtain all your egg whites is through food. It works better than supplements. Try eating oatmeal for breakfast, cook an egg for in your salad (or chick peas) for lunch or some spinach and chicken (or salmon) for dinner. These are just a few examples, but you can find plenty of egg whites in beans, steak, nuts and cottage cheese too.

What you need to know about shakes

One of the supplements you can opt to take is egg white powder. Simply put, it’s the easiest way to eat your egg whites. I always think it’s important to go for a brand that uses natural egg whites and make sure the label on the bottle doesn’t contain a list of ingredients you’ve never heard of. The best thing you can do is have someone in a store give you some advice regarding the product.

Is this going to turn me into a body builder? No. The guys you see at the gym who look like Arnold Schwarzenegger are the ones using powders that do contain all sorts of ‘crap.’ They’re filled with sugars and chemicals that bloat your muscles.

So an extra egg a day won’t do you any harm.
