Holy shit: is dit hoe vliegtuigstoelen er straks uit gaan zien?

Je moet toch wat, als je tijd over hebt en vliegtuiginterieurontwerper bent. Aangezien hutjemutje zitten in een anderhalvemetereconomie ook niet echt de bedoeling is, aanschouw hier: veilige vliegtuigstoelen. Tenminste, als het aan het bedrijf Avioninteriors ligt. Ze ontwerpen al ruim 40 jaar het interieur van meerdere vliegtuigen en delen nu op Instagram een voorbeeld van hoe ‘veilige’ vliegtuigstoelen eruit kunnen gaan zien. Tussen alle passagiers komt een doorzichtig scherm (a.k.a. ‘de Glassafe’) en in elke rij wordt de middelste stoel omgedraaid. Ik moet zeggen: als je sowieso al niet zo van contact met anderen in het vliegtuig houdt: best oké dit, qua privacy. Maarre, je ademt toch wel gewoon in dezelfde ruimte? En de persoon die bij het raam zit moet toch alsnog langs de rest als-ie wil lopen? En je plast toch alsnog met honderden mensen op een paar kleine wc’s? Eh naja, hoe dan ook: de meningen zijn erover verdeeld. Oordeel zelf.
