The Sad Story of Jessie and D’Lila, P. Diddy’s Twin Daughters
The lawsuit against P. Diddy is nearly concluded, reaching an emotional peak for everyone involved. This week, P. Diddy’s twin daughters, D’Lila and Jessie, left the courtroom in tears as their father stands trial for sexual abuse, assault, and rape—charges that include allegations involving underage victims at the time of the alleged incidents.
Standing by P. Diddy
Despite the headlines and websites filled with the horrific allegations against their father, their love for him remains unshaken. On June 16, they even shared a post on their joint Instagram account—The Combs Twins, who have 783,000 followers—praising their father:
Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the entire world. We love you so much, words can’t even explain. You’ve always been there for us whenever we needed you no matter what. Through thick and thin. We appreciate everything you’ve done for us and we couldn’t ask for a better dad. The bond we have is inseparable and unplacable. We are so blessed to be given a dad as great as you are. We love and miss you so so much.
Note: “unplacable” appears to be a typo, likely meant to say “irreplaceable.”
Cocaine on the Children’s Clothes
For Diddy, this message of support was likely a welcome relief amidst the storm of accusations, but it is still remarkable. Back in 2013, the twins’ former nanny, Dawn Drago, claimed that the girls were not properly cared for. Their mother, Kim Porter, allegedly smoked marijuana around them regularly, and drug use in the house was said to be common. The girls once found a bag of cocaine in the backseat of the car—something their mother brushed off as “medicine”—and there was even an incident where traces of cocaine were found on their clothes at daycare.
Dad in Jail, Mom in Heaven
Life has not been easy for the twins. Just five months before they were born, their father, P. Diddy, had a daughter, Chance, with businesswoman Sarah Chapman. When the twins were twelve years old, their mother passed away—a loss they say they still struggle with every day.
Our lives were shattered when we lost our mother. She was our world and nothing has been the same since she passed,
the twins wrote on Instagram on September 25, pleading for people not to tarnish their mother’s memory with pain and, in their view, falsehoods.
Graduating Without Their Parents
Then came the day when most students get to proudly toss their graduation caps in the air and celebrate finishing high school. But there stood Jessie and D’Lila. Without their mother, without their father. One gone, the other in custody. The sentencing is expected in October this year, and for now, the twins remain alone.
Where Does P. Diddy’s Case Stand Now?
It’s hard to keep track of everything, so here’s a clear overview:
- Conviction: Found guilty on two counts of transporting individuals for prostitution, with a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison.
- Acquittal: Found not guilty of human trafficking and conspiracy charges related to organized crime.
- Additional Lawsuits: Beyond the criminal case, more than 120 civil lawsuits are pending against Combs, with allegations of sexual abuse, assault, and rape—some involving underage victims at the time of the alleged incidents.
- Detention: Combs remains in custody at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, awaiting sentencing scheduled for October 2025.
