Favorite city on earth?

The city where I was born and raised: Amsterdam. When I return to Amsterdam after traveling, the city feels like coming home.

Most romantic city?

I would really love to visit Venice once. For me, that is the city of love. Eating together and immersing ourselves in the romantic atmosphere.

A day out with your daughter?

Emma is now five, so she can enjoy walking around the Noordermarkt in Amsterdam. Together in the Jordaan, where the day always has to end with a visit to the playground. The Twiske we also love to go together.

Best restaurant in Amsterdam?

There are several, depending on what I'm in the mood for and the occasion. I love de Goudfazant. A large hall in Amsterdam-Noord with good food and a nice atmosphere. For some Asian Flavour I go to Woo Bros on Jodenbreedstraat. For delicious sushi, I sit down at The Red Sun. Loetje near Ouderkerk aan de Amstel makes me happy with the Bali steak, which is also the secret weapon of the restaurant. I have a few more like that. For me, it's mainly about being together in a cozy way.

What do you do to relax?

I have a fantastic masseuse I can call. Barbara Gemin. After she has treated me, I feel wonderful.

Where do you go for a weekend away?

I love city trips, as long as there is something to do in that city. I find London, Antwerp, and Paris nice cities where you can easily get to and thus make the most of your time. Enjoying a lot and dining out is what it's all about during those days. On my wishlist are Stockholm and Copenhagen. They attract me because of the art, fashion, and creativity.

Best hotel?

I like to try different hotels. A nice hotel is more like a beautiful memory for me, because afterwards I have the need to discover something new. I am an experience junkie; I collect and crave new discoveries.

Favorite shopping street abroad?

At the very top is Haight Street in San Francisco. A European feel, while it is really American. A must for everyone who is open-minded , because in the street you will find very cool vintage stores and the trendiest shops. Just Google it and you can immediately taste the atmosphere.

Where do you succeed best online?

My favorite addresses are Asos, Orange Bag and 9straatjes online. For Emma, I buy basics at H&M.com and kleertjes.com. I never buy shoes online; I need to try them on first to avoid bad purchases.

Your favorite department store?

Macy’s, I love it.

Where do you buy beautiful lingerie sets?

I prefer to spend money on a nice pair of boots or a bag than on an expensive lingerie set. My lingerie just comes from H&M and Zara.

And finally, snap your fingers and you are in?

San Francisco. I would love to go back there once more. But I am also curious about Shanghai. And I have never been to Portugal even though it's so close. So write it down, I'm going there soon.
