HAPPY LARA

In marriage years, she would have turned pearl today (or 30 years) and we think it's time for an ode to Lara Stone. Lara has shaken up the fashion world. Compared to the average in the modeling world, her body is fuller, her feet smaller, and her teeth... well, you know. Yet she ranks number 15 among the highest-paid models worldwide and has shot 79 advertising campaigns, 58 covers, and 150 editorials since 2007. Fashion journalist Cathy Horyn compared her walk to that of Lurch from The Addams Family, Isabel Marant called her an alien and ‘a mix of warrior and Brigitte Bardot’, Calvin Klein referred to her as the girl with the X-rated lips, and Bruce Weber compared her to Marlon Brando. We consider her one of our most beautiful export products and are especially delighted by her Instagram account where she only (read only) posts photos of her dog Bert (she remains Dutch after all) and nothing of her baby. And we think that's pretty cool here. No cork will pop from the bottle at the Stone-Walliams household because you know Lara is from the blue button. A glass of fresh almond milk then, Lara? Cheers!
