Actually, a product like this is indispensable in any makeup bag. Because who doesn't need a quick fix now and then quick fix for dark circles, bags, and other dark grooves on your face. In the month of December, filled with parties, drinks, and other alcohol-soaked nighttime adventures, it is even more of an essential item. That's why we were very pleased to test the new Clarins Eclat Minute Light.

It might be a bit unfair. I just came from a week of zen, and I have quite a good color on my face. Even if I say so myself. But okay, give me one good Christmas party with lots of wine and the circles will appear around my eyes again. This Clarins Eclat Minute will only be in stores at the beginning of January, but I'm lucky because I got to test this lovely little tube in advance. And wow, what a lovely scent and what a nice product. A small drop on my index finger is already enough. Gently dabbing a bit under my eyes and I look just a tad fresher. This nice product will be a standard in my makeup bag.

Unlike Jet, my face after a weekend full of Christmas parties was quite a challenge for this product. But Clarins, due to its excellent price/quality ratio, is one of my favorite brands – I'm especially a fan of their Beauty Flash Balm and Cellulite Control – and therefore I had high expectations for their Eclat.

It has a nice pump that allows for good dosing. The scent, color (I have 03 peach), and texture look good. A few drops under my eyes and around the corners of my nose – I learned that from a makeup artist – and I should look a lot fresher again. I definitely see improvement. The gray and dark blue tones in my face have made way for a fresh, healthy complexion. Still, I expected a bit more. Perhaps a better blend with my own skin tone. This just proves that choosing a good color that suits you is very important.
