ANNEMIEK HART
Shamelessly walking through the walk-in closets of women who know and have everything about the latest fashion is one of my guilty pleasures. The shoes, the bags, the it-outfits, I want those too! Walk with me this week through the walk-in of Annemiek Hart, PR manager at Louis Vuitton Netherlands. I love her classic, gypsy, boho style. Annemiek: ‘I actually feel a bit ashamed now that I see all my stuff together.
STIJL
I really love wearing jackets. I can combine them in many different ways. For example, with a J Brand flare pants and high heels, I go for cocktails with my girlfriends, but for a chic dinner, I wear one with a little black dress under.
My closet is full of cashmere sweaters and cardigans. I usually buy those in London at Harrods or Uniqlo in the colors blue, gray, black, pink. Those are really my colors. I love shopping online at net-a-porter.com and lately, I haven't been buying much at Zara, but rather at Nikkie (link).
GRAPPIGE FEITEN
Annemiek loves gold coins on long chains, has a black/blue fetish, wears hats very often, and her favorite brands are Louis Vuitton and Nikkie.
She already knows exactly which items will go to Olympia (her daughter) later. Now let's hope she doesn't become a tomboy !
BAGS
- Noé: Specially designed for a champagne house. Exactly 5 bottles of champagne had to fit in.
- Alma: bridge in Paris.
- Lockit: Very old model and always has a little lock
- SC bag: Collaboration with Sofia Coppola. I had to have this one because it was dark blue and I think that's a beautiful color. This bag comes from the Parnasséa line and is perfect for women who don't like logos.
SHOES
I keep all my shoes in their boxes. It doesn't look very cozy, but this way they stay beautiful the longest. I wore my white Louis Vuitton high heels under my wedding dress at my mini wedding in Las Vegas. I was pregnant at the time. In a very funny little shop on Van Woustraat in Amsterdam, I chose a dress that I had made completely to my size. It was originally strapless and I don't like that, so I had nice sleeves put on.
CHILDBIRTH PYJAMA
I had bought a very cute pink one with polka dots in New York, but you can also easily order one online. The back can open with drip buttons (but they are really not hard to lie on) if you need an epidural, for example. And you can easily flip a flap to breastfeed. Very handy!
SCHOONHEIDSFEITEN
I am addicted to the Dior travel make-up sets. At every airport I go to, I buy one. I even did my entire bridal makeup myself from one of those small boxes. I also really like the loose powder from La Mer, it's fantastic. Expensive, but you can use it for a very long time. When I'm in Paris, I always go to a pharmacie. They are really like doctors there and they have wonderful products that you can't get in the Netherlands. On my nightstand, there is always Dior Apricot that I put on my nails before I go to sleep so they grow better and look well-groomed.
