Chantal, Leontine, and Sylvie are all incredibly beautiful women. Even without makeup, I know for sure. But Leco always makes them just a little bit prettier. May Britt and I recently got a peek into his house and wardrobe (link). Leco is so kind, hospitable, and stylish. I immediately asked him eleven questions about beauty. Luckily, he wanted to share some tips and tricks with me. And I'm going to follow all of them! 

Basic essential

I can do more and more outside a lot. In the past, I tried a lot of things and layered a lot. Now I look at what is effective for me. I am still extreme when it comes to products. But I try not to try everything anymore.

Morning ritual

Showering is the best moment of the day. You wash away the night with it. I scrub every day. For that, I use the 7 Day Scrub from Clinique or Kanebo Sensai Silky Purifying Silk Peeling Powder. Kanebo has such a cleaning cloth that is so nice. I take it everywhere with me. I can't live without my Lancome deodorant. I've been using it for years. Furthermore, I find oral care very important, so I floss, scrape my tongue clean, and gargle with mouthwash. Of course, I spend the whole day with my face above people, so I find it important to smell nice.

I use a little cream, but not really much. I am really for a protection factor. And not just when the sun is shining, also when it rains. So I always finish with a good sunscreen factor 50. And I really do get tanned. The tan you get also lasts much longer and looks much nicer.

Eyebrows or lashes

I've noticed that I've been very focused on eyebrows lately. For thick eyebrows because I'm allergic to thin lines. But I'm really a fan of eyelashes. If I were a woman, I would glue on eyelashes every morning. Really, no mascara can compare. You say you're not good at it? I'm going to teach you. Really, anyone can apply an eyelash.

Red carpet Essential

There is always a lot of attention paid to hair and makeup. Nails are also important, just like good, smooth legs. I really love Nux, a very nice oil. Collistar has a very nice compact powder that you can also use for your legs and arms; Glow Fusion. I use one box per week. I almost eat that product. Really. fabulous. I have rarely been this enthusiastic.

Beauty confession

You can have the most beautiful makeup in the world. If you don't have the right brushes, it won't work. Without beautiful tools you can't blend. Really, otherwise you'll never achieve the red carpet look. They are the extensions of your fingers. Without tools, you can do nothing.

Furthermore, an instant pick-me-up is Crease Release from Dr. Brandt. A little product on your hand, rub it in, and then on your face. It's like I'm in a citrus press! Everything tightens up! And the pads from Estée Lauder Stress Relief Eye Mask are also gold. If I have a stressed bride who didn't sleep well the night before, I first put two bags of chamomile tea on her eyes behind sunglasses. That or such a pad behind the eyes, and nothing more to worry about.

That was in Paris in the Mac store. New looks had just come in, so I took them with me. Makeup never bores me. I still find it super fun.

Favorite nails

It's so incredibly important. It belongs to every look. Essie is great, the color collection is very beautiful and the texture too. OPI is absolutely great as well. And the Chanel colors are really fantastic. And I also have a few bottles from Dior, which have a very nice brush.

Favorite perfume

Molecules of Virgin Island Water from Creed. And not to forget the Babytouch from Burberry. I spray it on my bed and also in my closet, I also spray the dryer with it so that my laundry smells wonderful. It's really a lovely room spray. Everything must be sprayed. .

Never leave home without

I always have something for my lips with me. It's really a cool little box from La Prairie. The top nourishes the eye, the bottom the lip. Eye cream you should, especially at a certain age apply multiple times a day.

Tip

You can also use your toothbrush for your lips. With that, you remove the flakes and activate the blood circulation. And you protect yourself well against sun and weather influences. Everyone gets older. Really. But try to become as beautiful as possible.

Robbie, my daughter. She has changed everything for me. She is the only one for whom I always drop everything. Really the most beautiful. And how she dresses... insane.
