Whenever I see Melanie van Wijk and Linda Botter - the founding mothers of MaisonPR - I spend the first two minutes admiring all their new friends. These can be friends who come from a black-and-white awning boutique (or from that nice little shop with an orange facade) but they often also have connections with an affordable acquaintance. They always inspire me. With their humor, craftsmanship, but especially with their looks.

Linda combines her dress from Ladress with ankle boots from Valentino, a clutch from Chanel (yes, we are dealing with enthusiasts here), a funfur jacket from Club Monaco, and jewelry from Chanel, Tiffany & Co, and Melz. The whole is topped off with a drop of Pomegranate Noir that she mixes with Nutmeg & Ginger, both from Jo Malone.

And ladies, that blanc de blanc from Ruinart, when are we drinking that?
