We admit it. There are more fun occasions to remember Jackie Kennedy. The fact that it has been fifty years since JFK was assassinated may not be a reason to pop open the Ruinart. On the other hand; Jackie is Jackie is Jackie and it is always a celebration to commemorate her. Whatever the occasion.
So we are bombarding the upcoming week as Jackie week, the queen of style, class, and elegance.

If anyone is the 2013 version of Jackie Kennedy slash Onassis, it is our Peggy. Peggy embodies Jackie and immediately dove into her books when we told her that the coming week would be Jackie week. Only Jackie’s saying ‘Sex is a bad thing, it rumples the clothes’ would never have come out of Peggy’s mouth. ‘Girl, who cares’ she would have said. But further, Peggy is just Jackie. Period.

So today Peggy is the first to do a Jackie in Look of the Day.

The perfect little black dress is from LaDress and has of course been ordered immediately. The tights are from Oroblu, the charming, flat shoes are from LK.Bennett. The shawl (Peggy and Jackie are really the only ones on earth who look gorgeous with this headwear) is from Chanel. The pearl necklace and sunglasses are Peggy’s own. That lovely hair was done by our friends from The Building in Amsterdam and all items can be purchased at The Beehive. Except for our Peggy, of course, she is priceless.
