To be seen through a ring, the once so recalcitrant Adele appeared this afternoon at Buckingham Palace. A midnight blue midi dress by Stella McCartney, a perfect beehive hairdo and a charming hairpiece by Philip Treacy completed her look for the royal event. Because the immensely popular singer received an MBE (Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire) pinned on her by Crown Prince Charles. Quite a big deal that was accompanied by a very official moment where she even made a curtsy (that bow by bending the knees).

But that Adele is still a totally quirky ‘delightfully crazy woman’ was proven, as far as we are concerned, by her royal nail art. On the ring fingers of her royal blue polished nails were silver crowns adorned with red stones. We houden ervan!
