– Model of the Moment –

GEORGIA MAY JAGGER

Now that 2013 is almost over, we all look back on the past year. What were the highs and lows? Who were the winners and losers? It leads to interesting discussions at Amayzine HQ, but when we discussed who our Model of the Year is, we quickly reached a unanimous agreement.

If your father is the frontman of The Rolling Stones, your mother a 70’s supermodel, and you are given the name Georgia May Jagger, you can definitely say you were born ‘cool’. Of course, this is by no means a guarantee that you will make something of your life, but at the age of 17, Georgia took her first steps in her mother’s footsteps by – mind you, topless – modeling in the Hudson Jeans campaign. Actually, we could have said back then; a star is born. That big mouth with a gap between the front teeth, that amazing hair, and those green eyes. Beautiful! But it’s her presence that captivates you. Endless sex appeal, rock ’n roll flows through her veins, and yet she is always stylish.

Georgia was already named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards in 2009, participated in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games last year, and has worked for Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, Versace, and Rimmel, among others. Additionally, she is also studying photography in New York. In other words, she is on a roll, and as one of the most sought-after models of the moment, it seems that for that train het sky the limit.

What we all naturally wonder about such a special beauty is what she does to maintain it. Because although she is clearly blessed with good genes, nothing comes completely naturally. From her mother Jerry Hall, she quickly learned that she must drink plenty of water and never go out without at least SPF 30. She also dutifully washes her face every night before bed and regularly treats her long locks with an olive oil mask. Additionally, she eats healthily and stays active. “I love fruit, eat a lot of protein-rich food and green vegetables. (…) Working out in a gym is not for me. I want to do something fun. I love swimming and I enjoy horseback riding or taking long walks on the beach.” Georgia also says she makes sure to always get enough sleep. A lot more well-behaved than her parents, then.
