I remember it well. I was fifteen years old. My very first designer dress. I had walked past it four times. After a month of setting tables at Café Restaurant Amsterdam during the summer vacation, which was my part-time job, I could buy it. A Paul Smith dress with a print of a map of England. By the way, it has turned into a skirt now – my grandma is incredibly handy. Yes, here and there a little more hip and bust came along. I haven't worn it for a while, but I think I'm going to take it out of the closet again, because during New York fashion week I saw it come by so often: clothing with photo prints. What do you think of that screaming dog from Givenchy, for example? And if I get bored with that, I can always have a photo of my grandma printed on it.
