Now that the champagne is cold (it is always cold here, but with the New Year's Eve in mind, we put an extra bottle in the fridge) and the year is really almost over, we look back at the most important trends that peeked around the corner and that will undoubtedly continue to simmer in 2014.
The earpiece, we saw Ilse Delange during the finale of The Voice of Holland, but actually, everyone who craves trends had one.
Denim on denim. I must honestly say that I had to get used to the denim blouse. And especially in combination with denim jeans. Thank goodness fashion law dictates that the blouse and pants must be from a different denim family, which makes it a bit easier for me. A nice belt around it and make sure to go all out with heels and a bag, otherwise, I find it all too casual.
The set made its glorious entrance. And not in the boring form of a pantsuit but a nicely pronounced print that you carry through in top and pants. Unobtrusive is not an option.
There it was again, the Kenzo sweater. Last year already the must have in the form of the iconic tiger head, this year the all-seeing eye was the highlight of Fashion Week. Comfortable and in de mode what more could a fashion person want?
