3X Maandagshakes

So, still a bit wobbly from the partying this weekend? I kept it calm, because yesterday there was a 15K on the schedule. I would like to, but if I have one glass of wine on Saturday, then I would have to crawl through that race on Sunday. I'm quite a wuss when it comes to alcohol and hangovers. I always have them. So now I'm sitting fresh and fruity behind my desk. Can I walk? Yesss, that's another story.

Alright, something else. Today I'm sharing my 3 favorite breakfast shakes with you. Whether I put the flowers outside on the weekend or kept it low-key, I always start the week on Monday with a healthy smoothie.

How do you make it?

Put the banana, the coconut flakes, a pinch of cinnamon, and a few large splashes of coconut water in the blender. Mix everything together and if you find it still a bit too thick, add some more coconut water. This shake is super healthy, low fat, and an energy bomb.

Carrot juice can be bought at the organic store or you can make it yourself if you have a juicer. Put all the ingredients in the blender. You can choose the quantities based on how thick you want the smoothie to be. You can also choose whether you want it to taste very much like coconut or just a little bit. (or whether you want it to taste very much like coconut or just a little bit.)

How do you make it?

Peel the pear and cut it into pieces in the blender, add a handful of spinach, a few pieces of washed celery, and a few splashes of almond milk. Blend and you're done.

Now you have a delicious soft, sweet juice.

Happy Monday!
